Insightful speakers\, industry updates\, and rousing performances make the ARTS Day Conference a “thought-provoking” and “energizing” event people return to year after year. \nARTS Day Legislative Visits is North Carolina’s arts industry “take action” event. This historic event serves as a reminder of the struggle for freedom and equality\, and the Henderson community is coming together to honor this important milestone.\n\nThe festival will be a vibrant celebration of African American culture\, showcasing talent from the local area and beyond. Prepare to be captivated by incredible performances by renowned artists such as ‘Mix Master James ‘Head’ Williams\,’ a master of beats and rhythms that will have you dancing throughout the evening. The talented dancers of iPraise Dance Academy will take the stage\, showcasing their grace and skill through the art of praise dance. The dynamic group Work in Progress will entertain the crowd with their soulful melodies and energetic stage presence.
