A Celebration of African American Music and Dance February 15, 2026

Join us for an inspiring afternoon performance that celebrates the richness, resilience, and evolution of African and African American music and dance. A Celebration of African American Music and Dance showcases the talent and spirit of our senior performers while tracing the musical journey from its African origins to the sounds and styles we recognize today.
Through live performance and movement, this program explores how rhythms, songs, and dance traditions traveled across generations, shaped communities, and influenced everything from spirituals and gospel to blues, jazz, soul, and beyond. Expect an engaging mix of music and dance that honors tradition while highlighting the living, ongoing story of cultural expression.
